Responsibilities
As a Geriatric Nursing Assistant, you will provide hands-on care and support to our clients, working closely with our clinical team. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting clients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and mobility.
- Monitoring and documenting clients’ health status, including vital signs and behavioral changes.
- Supporting seniors with Alzheimer’s or other conditions through compassionate, person-centered care.
- Collaborating with nurses and caregivers to implement individualized care plans.
- Engaging clients in meaningful activities to promote emotional and social well-being.
- Maintaining a safe and comfortable environment for all clients.
Skills/Experience
We are looking for empathetic and skilled candidates who embody our values. Ideal qualifications include:
- Certification as a Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) or equivalent (CNA with geriatric focus).
- Experience in senior care, Alzheimer’s support, or related healthcare settings preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to build trust with clients and families.
- Ability to observe and report changes in client health or behavior.
- Familiarity with electronic health records or basic healthcare technology.
- Professional, compassionate demeanor with strong teamwork skills.
